Bellevue, WI -- The Brown County Sheriff's Department is warning people and business about counterfeit $100 bills that are circulating in the Green Bay area. Deputies say four African American males in their late teens to early 20's passed the fake money at the Target store on Lime Kiln Road in Bellevue on April 11th. On Wednesday, deputies released surveillance photos of the young men. Investigators say that $5 bills were washed and then printed over with images of a $100 bill. The men involved reportedly drove away in a dark-colored car that possibly had Illinois license plates.
