Judge Clears Sale of Green Bay's Clarion Hotel

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Green Bay leaders say a court decision has cleared the way for the city to buy the Clarion Hotel located along the Fox River Near the KI Convention Center.
Judge William Atinkson allowed the sale to proceed after an objection, filed earlier, was removed from the courts.
The City and the Redevelopment Authority (RDA) plan to purchase the hotel for $2.8 million. The property will become part of the KI Convention Center expansion project. Mayor Jim Schmitt says the city will sell the hotel once renovations are complete.
