NORTHEAST WI-More than a foot of snow had law enforcement and tow companies busy all day long dealing with accidents. There were whiteout conditions, and more than a hundred drivers stranded for hours in Sheboygan county, one of the hardest hit areas.
"We've had snow storms but I haven't seen anything this bad, the wind was horrible" said Sarah Strzelczyk, whose car went into a ditch.
Much of the same in Manitowoc County. People digging cars out of the mess and clearing mountains of snow out of driveways.
"This is Wisconsin so we are used to this," said Jodie Kisolek.
But still many surprised by just how much snow has piled up.
"I knew it was coming but I didn't know how much was coming," said Linnia Jennings.
In Winnebago County, more than fifty cars stuck in ditches or in snow drifts.
"We had some had damage and minor injuries, but no one required any medical transport" said Sgt. Jeff Gruss with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department.
In Brown County, more slide offs. On one stretch of highway 43, three cars off the road within a few feet of each other.
And in downtown Green Bay, roads are clear, but there are slick patches.
Road crews, working into the night, salting the roads to keep everyone safe.
