APPLETON - Florists all throughout Northeast Wisconsin are putting in long hours this Valentine's Day, making sure each bouquet is perfectly organized and ready for delivery.
At Charles the Florist in Appleton, owners say there's hardly enough space to store all the arrangements.
"We ended up shutting down our wire service and our internet for deliveries for today yesterday, in the late afternoon. We just can't take anymore. So now, we're operating on walk-in," said owner Susan Soczka.
Soczka says pink and red roses seem to be the most popular this year. She also says more and more people are buying mixed floral arrangements for their sweethearts.
