3 Car Crash Sends 5 to the Hospital

CREATED Jan. 27, 2013

TOWN OF BELLEVUE-- A three-car crash sends five people to the hospital, including two good Samaritans who were thrown off an overpass.

It happened this morning, at 12:11 a.m., on STH 172 westbound at Lime Kiln Road in the Village of Bellevue.
The initial crash involved a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser and a 2011 Toyota Highlander. Two people pulled over to help, when a 1995 Chevrolet mini-van struck the Toyota and launched the two good Samaritans off the overpass.
They both landed in the ditch. All the injured were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The crash is being investigated by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, but alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
