GREEN BAY, Wis.--Police are investigating a green bay man's death after his body was found in the driveway of his home on the city's east side. It happened around eight Monday morning. on the 1700 block of East Shore Circle.
Police haven't released the man's name. Officers say there are no obvious signs of foul play, they located his car at a nearby bar. Now they're trying to figure out how he got from the bar to his house.
East Shore Circle, a quiet street, minutes away from Bay Beach Amusement Park. This is the house where a 38-year-old man was found laying dead in driveway.
'It's sad and it's a little scary because you don't know what happened."
Neighbor Kathy Lefebvre watched from a distance as police blocked off the scene. Another neighbor who wouldn't go on camera says she could see the man laying on his back in the driveway, his socks, shoes, hat and keys, laying about a foot away from him.
"There were not physical signs of harm" said Lt. Kevin Warych with the Green Bay Police Department.
Police are still investigating the cause of death. They won't say if the cold weather was a factor.
Officers are backtracking how the man got home from a local bar, where they found his car.
"We are trying to interview staff at that bar to determine a timeline of how this individual got to the bar, left the bar and how he ended up at his residence," said Lt. Warych.
Neighbors say the man was quiet, kept to himself. They say he rented the house and had lived there about eight months.
Lefebvre hopes there was no foul play.
"That someone didn't do something to him," she said.
Police are waiting to notify the man's family, before they release his name.
