Children Receive Angel Tree Gifts
CREATED Dec. 17, 2012 The Salvation Army of Brown County is helping make children's Christmas dreams come true. More than 280 kids received their angel tree gifts Tuesday afternoon during a season of joy celebration at the Kroc Corps Community Center. "We also have some crafts for the kids to take part in. We want to make sure that we get them involved as much as we want the parents to be involved and then we want them to go and get their gifts that we have and be able to leave with a happy spirit," said Kroc Center director Alvin Bottorff. Community members chose names of children off various angel Christmas trees around the Green Bay area and then donated gifts to their child.
