Green Bay-- It was a "family affair" in Northeast Wisconsin. On Tuesday Joe Biden's son, Beau Biden was in Manitowoc stumping for the democrats. Paul Ryan's older brother, Tobin, rallied republicans in Green Bay. Both parties can't wait for Thursday's Vice Presidential Debate. Republicans are still delighted after last week's presidential debate, hoping Ryan can keep the GOP's momentum. Democrats are putting their faith in Joe Biden's experience in high-profile contests.
"The president won here in 2008 and we're back trying to win the votes of the citizens of this state to make sure we reelect the president and vice president, " Beau Biden said Tuesday. He added, his father is currently sizing up Paul Ryan, "He's a very smart guy, he has an intimate knowledge of his budget...So my father is studying up on exactly what Paul Ryan is all about."
Lots of anticipation from republicans as well but Paul Ryan's older brother Tobin, is not exactly gloating as he looks ahead. "He's up against an amazing debater, one of the most experienced guys that's been in that situation, given that Vice President Biden has run for president twice," Ryan said. Though the older Ryan has all the confidence in his younger brother. "I hope Paul is his substantive self, calm self and I'm sure he will be," Ryan added.
