APPLETON--First Lady Michelle Obama dives right into a sea of blue.
"We don't have all day,” Michelle Obama joked with the crowd.
Her husband only has 39 days to go.
"Tell them about the millions of jobs Barack created, tell them about health reform, tell them about all our kids that can finally afford college, tell them how Barack ended the war in Iraq,” Michelle Obama said.
With Lawrence University as a backdrop, thousands packed in the gymnasium Friday afternoon as she rallied the young vote.
"It could all come down to a few battleground states like Wisconsin,” she said.
Her message music to the ears of the crowd.
"It's really critical because students in the last election were really the ones that brought the energy to the campaign. I think that needs to happen again if there's any hope of Obama being re-elected,” Lawrence University professor David Bell said.
The First Lady reminded the blue base, there's still a long battle ahead.
"Everybody in this room has the chance to swing an entire ward for Barack Obama, and if we win enough wards we will win the state. If we win the state, we will be well on our way to putting Barack Obama back in the White House for four more years,” the first lady said.
This was her second trip to Wisconsin in just four weeks.
