GREEN BAY, WI - As you watch the Green and Gold this pre-season, the Packers are reaching new audiences.

The games are available in Spanish courtesy of Telemundo, on NBC26 sister station, WACY MyNew-32. The games are live, in sync with the English versions.
With the Latino community growing in northeast Wisconsin, the broadcasts are seen by even more packer fans. The Latino community in Green Bay says this is a big step, in the right direction.
"Oh my god, I’m so excited. It's like another door opens for us. Like they know that we're here,” said Gabriela Gamboa, President of the Hispanic Organization in Green Bay.
Gamboa said she knows how important the Spanish broadcasts are to the Latino community in the area.
"We want to be part of you, let us be part of this, and this is huge,” she said.
She's lived here for nine years, immigrating from Mexico. And she loves the Packers.
“It means a lot for the community, for Green Bay,” she said.
Uniting the Pack with Spanish has been in the works for about 4 years, and the team is trying to reach new audiences all the time.
"The Packers are in the top 10 as favored NFL teams with the Hispanic audience," said Craig Benzel, Director of Marketing for the Packers.
With about 20,000 Latinos in and around Green Bay, this partnership just makes sense.
The NFL also broadcasts in Spanish in Houston, Miami and San Diego.
“It's about reaching out to everybody, and you know the United States is a great melting pot,” said Jim Hall, President and GM of WMLW/Telemundo Wisconsin.
Hall said they've received very positive feedback from the broadcasts, and they're planning on continuing the Pre-Season Spanish coverage next season.
You can catch the next Pre-Season game broadcast in Spanish next week against the Kansas City Chiefs.
