OAK CREEK-- One of the men wounded in the Sikh temple massacre is now recovering at home. Santokh Singh was released from the hospital Wednesday. Nearly two weeks since the shooting at the Oak Creek temple the physical and emotional healing is far from over.
Even with bullet holes in his chest and staples in his stomach, Singh says he is a lucky man. Santokh was one of three to survive the shooting inside the Sikh temple in Oak Creek. Police say Wade Michael Page stormed temple leaving six others dead. Santokh remembers the horrific ordeal.
Singh made it to a neighbor’s house and asked him to call police.
