A crash near Pittsville sends three people to the hospital including a little boy. Officers say around 9:30 Saturday morning a 16-year-old Pittsville boy was driving north on Highway 13--when he swerved onto the north shoulder, overcorrected and crossed the center line.
That's when he smashed into another car heading east ejecting a 46-year-old woman from the car. A 3-year-old boy who was a passenger was trapped inside. Luckily he was rescued by a passer-by before the car burst into flames. All three were rushed to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Their names are not being released.
