Diamond Factory Store Owner Arrested

The owner of Ashwaubenon's Diamond Factory has been arrested near Wausau. 41-year-old Tyler Kosmoski was caught yesterday evening after a brief foot chase with police. Kosmoski has been on the run for the last few days after complaints surfaced he was scamming customers out of thousands of dollars in jewelry.
Wedding rings…anniversary necklaces...watches....gone! Diamond Factory customers showing up to get their jewelry, but the store had been shut down and the Kosmoski had fled. After launching an investigation, Ashwaubenon Public Safety asking Vosner Jewelers in Green Bay to take in the merchandise seized from the Diamond Factory and help return all the jewelry it to the rightful owners.
Jim Storzer with Vosner Jewelers says the police turned over hundreds of pieces of jewelry. "There's repairs that are done, there are repairs that need to be done, there are consignment pieces there's layaway pieces," explains Storzer.
As Storzer works to get more than $75,000 worth of jewelry back to its owners, Ashwaubenon Public Safety anticipating more victims to come forward who were possible scammed by Tyler Kosmoski.
"Well, we’re pretty sure were not going to get everyone's stuff back, but were going to try as hard as we can to make sure anyone that has a loss is justified somehow," says Lt. Jody Crocker with Ashwaubenon Public Safety.
So far, 75 complaints have been filed, totaling more than $100,000 of merchandise. Kosmoski faces several charges of theft and according to police this is not the first time he has been in trouble with the law like this before.
