GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers have been through it before.
With Brett Favre, they've endured a star player who desired to leave the Packers and join an archrival, the Minnesota Vikings.
That's why players like Clay Matthews have extra perspective about the continual barrage of comments from former teammate Greg Jennings, who left in free agency to go to Minnesota.
“With his case, obviously it didn’t end on agreeable terms,”
“We’re very competitive, both the organization as far as winning, and the players as far as winning, whether that’s on a personal level or on a team level. So it never sits right. Obviously we saw that with a former quarterback here.”
Jennings' latest salvo came Wednesday when he claimed he was "brainwashed" by his experience with the Packers.
