GREEN BAY -- Lambeau Field is being built in Legos.
Students from the Milwaukee School of Engineering are re-creating the historic stadium in Legos. They built the bowl in Milwaukee back in May and then, after a request from the Packers organization, it would be a great part of Packers Family Night this Saturday.
"It's 130,000 pieces, there at 15 team members working on it, and we've put in 1500 hours of design," says Project Leader Justin Cosgrove.
The building process began today and they plan to have it completed by the start of Family Night. It will remain on display for about a month. The Lego replica will be complete with lights, a scoreboard, and fans in the stand.
