GREEN BAY - For the first time since before the Packers' first preseason game, they're holding a public practice.

But they did get one running back returning to the practice field.
Eddie Lacy (hamstring) has returned to practice. He said before preseason opener it wasn't a concern. Competition on at RB w Harris back.— Tyler Dunne (@TyDunne) August 13, 2013

Some other things we noticed - a receiver going back to the ball-catching machine after a not-so-perfect preseason opener reminiscent of his often-regular struggles.
