The Detroit Lions are known for having a few characters on their team who play dirty football. Guys like defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh have been suspended for things they've done to the Packers during past contests.
All-time leading Packers wide receiver Donald Driver, a veteran of such contests, revealed how individual Packers players handle what they'll face in Sunday's matchup at Lambeau Field against Detroit.
"It's not coached up, but as human beings, you know what's going on. You watch films, you see guys that play dirty. You tell them before the game, 'Don't try to get (any) cheap shots in,' " said Driver.
However, Driver warned that even such early messages to opponents won't stop some of the shenanigans.
"In the heat of the moment, people do crazy things. Sometimes you get penalized for it, sometimes you don't," said Driver.
"We talk about Suh. He's a great guy, but he's made a lot of mistakes. That last fine really hurt his pocket."
