Brantley Gilbert, who over the weekend engaged more than 40,000 fans to help reveal the cover of his brand-new album, "Just As I Am" (seen above), announced Monday that the disc will be released May 19. The country star was a writer on every one of the tracks on the album, his first new music since the million-selling "Halfway to Heaven," which was originally issued in 2010 on Average Joe's, then again in 2011 on his current label, Valory Music. (See the track listing below.)

Brantley says this album will offer a more personal exploration of his life.

"I have always said that each of my albums has told a story … my story, and this album is no different. This one picks up where 'Halfway to Heaven' left off," he explains. "I have gone through a lot the past few years … a lot of highs and lows, and all of that is reflected in this project. My fans know I'm a straight shooter so I didn't leave anything out. I think there is something for everyone -- from my party side to the gentler stuff. I can't wait to share this new music with the BG Nation."

A deluxe version of the album will be made available exclusively at Walmart. It includes three additional tracks: The newly-recorded "G.R.I.T.S." (written by Brantley Gilbert), "Read Me My Rights" (Gilbert, Brian Davis, Jess Franklin) and "Grown Ass Man" (Gilbert).
