Kevin Richardson is known as "The Lion Whisperer." He is a self-taught animal behaviorist, a filmmaker and conservationist.
The 39-year-old man is featured in a YouTube video that has gone viral with more than 3.5 million views as on Jan. 13. The video is almost 15 minutes long, but contains some amazing footage. You see lions bounding out of the grass to jump on him, a majestic lion hug and lions licking his face.
It's not just lions though. He has a way with hyenas too.
The footage was filmed at Richardson's wildlife sanctuary near Pretoria, South Africa.
Richardson's ability is unique, though, and not something that the average person should try. GoPro, the company that posted the YouTube video, says on their page "Warning: Do not attempt what you see in this video unless the final item on your bucket list is 'Get eaten by lions.'"
