Eric Church, 'The Outsiders' single debuts

Eric Church has premiered "The Outsiders," the first single from his upcoming album. The new album will be the studio follow-up to the ACM and CMA Album of the Year winner, "Chief."
In a message on his Twitter page introducing the tune, Eric says, "So here we are...the GLOVES ARE OFF! Go ahead and find out just who we are." The hard-charging rocker starts off with a spoken introduction then slowly builds to a rousing, singalong chorus of "That's who we are, that's how we roll." The "Springsteen" hitmaker hints that much of his upcoming album will be different, noting that he's uncertain how people will react to it.
"The Outsiders" was co-penned by Eric with Casey Beathard, the songwriter behind hits for Trace Adkins ("Hot Mama"), Kenny Chesney ("No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problems") and Billy Currington ("Walk a Little Straighter"), among others.
