Several month after a Southwest flight attendant made headlines for giving a safety speech that sounded more like a comedy routine, one of her colleagues is starring in a new viral video doing much the same thing … just with different jokes.
Passenger David London captured the shorts and tie-clad male flight attendant giving a joke-filled spiel that included lots of references to fashion before a flight from San Francisco to Chicago. At one point, the airline employee tells passengers that the crew would be going up and down the aisles to check and see if passengers’s shoes, socks and handbags matched.
At another point in the video, he tells passengers, “That seatbelt needs to be low and tight across your hips, just like the hot pink Speedo I'm going to be wearing when I finally get the three of us [flight attendants] to a hotel hot tub tonight."
He also asks, “For those of you who are traveling with your children … why?"
In the video description on YouTube, London says he told the flight attendant “it was the most fun flight I ever took, and thank you for going above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and entertained. He threw a cocktail party half way through the flight as well. What a gem he was! … This flight attendant deserves praise and recognition.”
