President Obama will focus on the economy when he makes a stop in Kansas City this week.

The White House confirmed Saturday that the President's speech is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Uptown Theater.

Obama is scheduled to arrive around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.

People can attend the event if they get a ticket.  Everyone will have to go through airport-like security.  Tickets will be given on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9:00 a.m. Monday at the theater.

Obama's last visit to the Kansas City area was in September when he delivered a speech at the Ford Plant in Claycomo.  It was also around this time last year that the President spoke at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
