Two Men From Hannibal Charged In Convenience Store Murder
HANNIBAL, Mo. (AP) - Two Hannibal men face second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of a 61-year-old convenience store clerk.
The Hannibal Courier-Post reports that 22-year-old Gary James Wiltermood III and 30-year-old Michael Alan Studer are accused of killing Adrienne Arnett during a Tuesday morning robbery.
The pair remained in the Marion County Jail Wednesday afternoon on $500,000 cash bonds. No attorneys were listed on online court records.
Hannibal Police Chief Lyndell Davis says Studer, the alleged shooter, was wearing camouflage and had his face covered in a robbery that netted the two suspects cigarettes and lottery tickets. Arnett was working alone at the time on the overnight shift.
