Meth Bust In Wright County Could Be Missouri's Largest

Nearly 100 working meth labs were found on a property near Mountain Grove. Most were the shake-and-bake kind and were located in an abandoned trailer on the property. A few of the labs were discovered in a trailer the family stayed in - along with a 2-year-old girl.
Wright County Sheriff Glenn Adler says the bust was a couple of years in the making.
"The information we've always had has been late or we couldn't get a search warrant. Everything's got to be just right to get a warrant that will hold up in court."
Sheriff Adler says some of the task force agents who worked the bust say it could be the largest in Missouri's history.
Five arrests have been made. Sheriff Adler says there may be more in the coming days.
The little girl who'd been living in the midst of some of these meth labs was checked out at a hospital in Springfield in case she'd inhaled some of the fumes. No word on her condition. She's been placed in custody of Children's Division.
