MSU Lady Bears Lead Arkansas-Little Rock 41-27 At Halftime At JQH Arena
The MSU Lady Bears have made half of their shots, jumping out to a 41-27 lead over the University of Arkansas-Little Rock at halftime in the home opener at JQH Arena.
Sophomore guard Kenzie Williams has 11 points for Missouri State, and has made three of four three point attempts
Bry Snow has added ten points for the Lady Bears, who are 14-28 from the field. The Trojans are 10-27 (37.0).
The Lady Bears have outrebounded Arkansas-Little Rock 22-11, and their bench has outscored the Trojans' bench 13-2.
UALR jumped out to an early 8-4 lead when Taylor Ford hit a three pointer at the 16:10 mark, but after Snow hit a shot with 15:21 left, was fouled and made her free throw, MSU went ahead 9-8.
The Lady Bears used an 11-0 run to go ahead 23-12 and a 12-1 run to take a 36-17 lead with just under five minutes left in the half.
Kiera Clark and Taylor Gault have nine points each to pace UALR.
MSU is 0-1 coming into tonight's game, while the Trojans are 1-0.
