Ft. Leonard Wood Called "Unique" By Army Chief Of Staff
(Missourinet) - The Army Chief Of Staff spent a day at Ft. Leonard Wood and General Ray Odierno called the fort "unique."
The Army's top general calls the fort a "special place" after touring the facility.
Odierno says the fort has programs not offered anywhere else in the Army -- including the training of special victim advocates.
Odierno spoke to the class training those who will be advocating for victims of sexual abuse in the military.
Odierno has gone back to the Pentagon after his first trip, calling it an eye-opening experience.
