I-44 Being Shut Down, Flash Flood Emergency Issued

UPDATE: The National Weather Service has canceled the Flash Flood Emergency and traffic is starting to move again on I-44.


The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Emergency for southwestern Laclede county.

Interstate 44 is also currently being shut down near Marshfield as reports come in of several feet of rushing water over the roadway near Conway.

Officials tell KTTS News that several water rescues, both in cars and homes are also underway in the Conway area.
