Project Partnership To Give Facelift To Three Elementary Schools
Hundreds of volunteers from James RIver Assembly are going to school this weekend.
The church is teaming up with leaders from Springfield and Ozark Public Schools to provide a facelift for three local elementary schools on Saturday.
Volunteers and school officials will be building tactile walls for students with sensory needs at Delaware Elementary in Springfield.
They'll also be building new bookshelves and painting playground equipment at Campbell Elementary, along with some landscaping work.
Almost every room and hallway at Ozark North Elementary will be treated to a fresh coat of paint too.
The work is being done as part of "Project Partnership," an annual joint effort between public schools in the Ozarks and James River Assembly.
This is the 14th year for the event.
