Severe Thunderstorm Warnings Issued In Greene, Christian Counties

12:52 PM - The NWS has expired active Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. A Flash Flood Warning continues until 5PM as more than seven inches of rain has been dumped across the area.

12:26 PM - UPDATE - The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Barry, Christian, and Stone counties until 1PM.

UPDATE: The National Weather Service has extended the Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Greene and Christian counties until 1PM.


The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Greene and Christian Counties until 12:15 PM. This does include the City of Springfield.

A Flash Flood Warning is also in effect for Greene and Christian Counties until 5PM. Up to three inches of rain came down in a short amount of time for many areas causing flooding on roadways.
