Joplin Man Will Be Tried For Wife's Murder
A Joplin man who prosecutors say shot his wife and then tried to take his own life, will strand trial for that crime next month.
According to the Joplin Globe, 35 year old Rondias Webb waived his right to a preliminary hearing and will stand trial in Jasper County circuit court on March 4th.
Court papers say Webb shot and killed his wife, Monica and then tried to take his own life at the couple's home last November.
Webb is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action.
