Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban and Taylor Swift have been added to the list of performers for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards telecast Sunday, Jan. 26. They join John Legend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr -- who as members of the Beatles will receive the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.
This will mark the first Grammy performance for Kacey, who, along with Taylor has four nominations. Kacey is up for New Artist of the Year and has a pair of nods in the Best Country Song category as co-writer of her hit, "Merry Go Round," and "Mama's Broken Heart," a No. 1 hit for Miranda Lambert.
Taylor's "Red" will vie for Album of the Year as well as Country Album of the Year and she's up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Highway Don't Care" (with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban), and Best Country Song for "Begin Again." Previously announced performers include Blake Shelton, who will join Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard for a special "Grammy Moment." Additional performers, presenters and special segments are expected to be announced soon.
LL Cool J returns as host of the Grammy Awards telecast, airing from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Sunday, Jan. 26, at 8:00 PM (ET/PT) on CBS.
