Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Cox Communications is making sure some children in foster care start the school year off right.
Cox made its annual donation of school supplies to Olive Crest Family Resource Center on Tuesday.
Cox employees have spent the past four weeks donating to the supply drive.
"Our commitment to helping children and education in Southern Nevada is part of who we are," said Mike Bolognini, market vice president for Cox Las Vegas. "Our employees are driven to help the community that we proudly call our home, and together, we were able to help the kids at Olive Crest gear up for the upcoming school year."
The donated items ranged from folders and notebooks to calculators and student planners.
During the special presentation, kids were invited to handpick school supplies based on their personal need.
