UPDATE: Travis Tritt's performance has been canceled in downtown Las Vegas. His planned opening act, The Beau Hodges Band, will perform at The Bunkhouse at 9 p.m. Tickets are $8. Anyone who purchased tickets to Tritt's show will receive a full refund, tickets to see Beau Hodges, and a free drink at The Bunkhouse. E-mails have been sent to ticket buyers.

A big country star is coming to the Downtown Container Park in downtown Las Vegas.

Award-winner singer Travis Tritt has announced that he will perform at the Container Park on Sept 4. He is currently touring to promote his new album "The Calm After," which was released through his label Post Oak Recordings in July.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 13 and can be purchased online at downtowncontainerpark.com.

The new album includes a duet featuring Tritt and his 15-year-old daughter Tyler Reese. The song "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough" is a cover of the 1980s pop hit.

Tritt also recently released a new singled titled "That's What Dreamers Do." The single was inspired by the independent biopic film "As Dreamers Do."

Tritt has received two Grammy Award in his career, both for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals. His first win was in 1992 for "The Whiskey Ain't Workin'," which was duet with Marty Stuart. He also won a Grammy, again with Stuart and nine other artists, in 1998 for "Same Old Train." Tritt has also won several awards from the Country Music Association and has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1992.

Las Vegas-based musician Beau Hodges, who is known for his outlaw country/Southern rock sound, will open for Tritt.

Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door for general admission. Valet parking will also be available for an extra $10. Tickets are limited and concert goers must be 21 or over.
