13 Things To Do This Week On The Las Vegas Strip

Here is a list of 13 Things To Do This Week On The Las Vegas Strip for Sept. 4 through 11:

1. The Loft at Cabo Wabo Cantina will transform into football central for the 2014-2015 season. There will be viewing parties and food and drink specials during all regular season NFL games and major college games. There are 16 flat-panel, big-screen television in addition to a 184-inch video grid, a 180-inch projection screen, and two 80-inch HD TV's.

2. It's a little off the Strip, but if you are looking for free (for club card members) laughs, check out the Bonkerz Comedy Club at the Silver Sevens. Rich Natole and Lina Lou perform Sept. 4 and Josh Nasar and Angie Krum perform Sept. 11.

3. If Irish music and food are your thing, head to Ri Ra Las Vegas in The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. The Black Donnellys, a triad/folk rock band, are performing night except Sept. 8 through the 14th. Food and drink specials include Jameson & ginger for $8 during September and an Irish take on chicken curry for $19. 

4. Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is back and performing Sept. 5 and 6 in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. He is best known for playing a semi-fictional version of himself in the sitcom "Seinfeld." More recently, he started an Internet comedy series titled "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" and appeared on rapper Wale's album "The Gifted" in 2013.

5. Susie Essman, best known for her role as Susie Greene on "Curb Your Enthusiasm," is the next comedienne to be featured by the Lipshtick Comedy Series at The Venetian. Essman will perform Sept. 5 and 6.

6. The King of Latin Music Roberto Carlos performs Sept. 6 in the Grand Garden Arena at the MGM Grand. The Grammy Award-winning Brazilian singer and composer has performed for 50 years and has sold more than 120 million records worldwide.

7. Big Sam's Funky Nation invades the Brooklyn Bowl on Sept. 6. The band is led by trombone powerhouse Big Sam Williams, formerly the trombonist for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Don't miss his signature dance moves and distinctive trombone riffs.

8. Retro Futura Tour with the Thompson Twins' Tom Bailey, Howard Jones, Midge Ure, China Cris, Katrina and Right the Stars takes the stage at Mandalay Beach on Sept. 5.

9. Hip-hop recording artist Kendrick Lamar from California invades The Cosmopolitan on Sept. 6. Lamar has performed with Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, and the Game. He is currently working on an album with J. Cole.

11. Golden Boy Promotions and Corona presents WBA Heavyweight World Title fight between Luis Ortiz and Lateef Kayod on Sept. 11 in The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

12. The Clinton Club, starring Kelly Clinton, will take the stage Sept. 11 at Viva Las Vegas Event Center on the Las Vegas Strip. Dinner and cocktails also available.
