Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Thursday is National Heatstroke Prevention Day.
Last year, 44 children in the U.S. died after being left in a hot vehicle.
Safe Kids Clark County and Findlay Chevrolet are teaming up to host a day of social media awareness to help keep our kids safe.
They want people to use the hashtags #checkforbaby and #heatstrokekills to show their support and participation in the event.
It starts at 10 a.m. at Findlay's location on South Torrey Pines.
