Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth is growing.
A groundbreaking was held on Wednesday for an expansion of its drop-in center. The goal is to give homeless youth the support they need to get back on the right path.
Organizers referred to Wednesday's event as "Pouring the Foundation of Success."
"I just want to thank the generosity of the community, for helping us drive our mission and making this day be possible and become a reality and we look forward to continuing to support the organization," said Arash Ghafoori with Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.
The expansion is being paid for with a grant from Nevada Women's Philanthropy and a construction donation from HomeAid.
