Below is a list of upcoming job fairs in the Las Vegas area:

Sitel will be adding more than 100 new positions to one of its contact center facilities in Las Vegas. The new round of hiring will include both entry-level and upper management positions. Newly hired associates will provide inbound customer-care support for a major gaming company. All new hires will begin employment within the next 60 days. Sitel will also host bi-weekly open houses on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the end of November at the company’s facility located at 420 Pilot Road in Las Vegas. Previous customer service experience and strong computer knowledge are preferred. Prospective applicants can also apply online.

AppleOne is hiring for 250 seasonal customer loyalty candidates to work at Zappos during the holidays. They are searching for upbeat, positive professionals with a great phone presence that can provide exceptional customer service over the phone. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of any customer service work history to be considered. OCT. 20-30
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is seeking highly motivated and professional individuals to embark on a career that is one of the most critical positions in the department. Applications will be accepted for Dispatch Specialist Trainee beginning Oct. 20 at 12:01 a.m. PST, and will remain open until 750 applications are received, or Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. PST, whichever occurs first. OCT. 22
The College of Southern Nevada is hosting a career fair on Oct. 22 at the Cheyenne campus at 3200 East Cheyenne Avenue. It will take place inside the June Whitley Student Lounge from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. More than 40 recruiters will be on hand to fill hundreds of job opportunities and internships available locally and nationwide. OCT. 23
Spreadshirt in Henderson is looking for production associates for three shifts Mondays through Fridays with some Saturdays. Duties include: unloading and loading of inventory, completing all relevant paperwork, downloading of designs, nesting designs on computer using Corel 12, loading vinyl into cut plotters, cut designs into vinyl, weed designs from vinyl, layout, cut and attach transfers to batch cards, pull inventory, press shirts, package and ship. Job fair will take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 23 at Spreadshirt, 1100 Mary Crest Road. Little to no experience needed. GED or high school degree required.

OCT. 29
One-Stop Career Center will hold its second annual Nevada Day Super Hiring Event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 29 at the center at 6330 W. Charleston Blvd. More than two dozen employers with hundreds of open positions will be interviewing during the event. Walk-ins are welcome but job seekers are encouraged to apply for open job positions online by clicking here. Job seekers who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to attend one of the pre-screening interview sessions held at 9 a.m. every Thursday in October leading up to the event - Oct. 2, 9, 16 and 23. Qualified candidates will then be scheduled for an in-person interview on October 29, 2014.  Job seekers who have been unemployed for six months or longer and have exhausted their unemployment benefits may be eligible for additional paid on-the-job training opportunities.

Career fairs will be hosted at the Williams-Sonoma Care Center in Summerlin. Residents in surrounding communities are encouraged to complete an application for full time, seasonal and customer service. Applications may be completed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at their Care Center in Summerlin located at 10000 Covington Cross, Las Vegas, 89144.

NOV. 4
Join the Large Vision Business Network Mixer and a host of companies in support of offering and providing jobs for local veterans. More than 50 companies will be on hand to recruit, plus health and educational services will be available. The job expo will take place Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Suncoast Hotel & Casino (Grand Ballroom) at 9090 Alta Drive. The expo is free and open to the public.
