First gay nightclub in Las Vegas Strip casino announced
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Nightlife entrepreneur Victor Drai has announced the opening of the first gay nightclub in a casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
Liaison will open this summer in the space currently occupied by Drai's famed after-hours nightclub at Bally's Las Vegas. The after-hours nightclub is moving to The Cromwell, also on the Las Vegas Strip.
Drai is pairing up with creative director Eduardo Cordova in the creation of Liaison. According to the press release, the new gay nightclub will symbolize elegance and feature saturated, sexy dark finishes of gold and black throughout the club, an abundance of mirrors, and Venetian-style chandeliers.
It will feature two club rooms, two DJ's, multiple bars, a stage and plenty of space for surprise performances.
Cordova says that the importance of having a gay nightclub in a Strip casino "is huge."
Drai says, "It is really hard to believe that this is the first gay nightclub inside a casino on the Las Vegas Strip. I am truly humbled to be a part of a new era for the gay community."
The nightclub will hold casting calls for all positions on May 17 at Drai's After Hours in Las Vegas and on May 20 at Victor Drai's new Rare by Drais.
