Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Three fallen heroes and their families were honored at Cashman Field Friday night.
Before the 51s game, fans paid tribute to Officers Alyn Beck and Igor Soldo and civilian Joseph Wilcox, killed in a deadly ambush shooting on June 8.
His mother Debra Wilcox said she struggles to cope with her loss, but is grateful for the continuing community support.
When asked how she felt about the tribute, she said: "Honored. That's why we showed up. Nine times out of ten if somebody invites us, we don't show up. But I feel very honored this is for Joseph."
Fund raising for the families hasn't stopped. The 51s donated part of the ticket sales to the victim's families.
The star of "Defending the Caveman" at Harrah's brought a check for more than $2,000, and another $1,000 check was donated by Country Financial.
