Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is taking Las Vegas by storm.
On Friday, local media was invited to participate in the middle of Town Square, and that included some members of Good Morning Las Vegas.
The challenge has been making the rounds online, as a way to raise awareness and money for ALS.
Participants are called on to either make a donation or pour a bucket of ice water over their heads. Most people do both.
Then, they nominate others to take the challenge.
The ALS Association has received more than $40 million over the past month, because of the Ice Bucket Challenge.
