The Jan. 30 episode of NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” will be the last to feature star Rob Lowe, but the veteran actor is jumping right back into the sitcom world.

Entertainment Weekly reports that NBC has ordered a new pilot, “The Pro,” which will star Lowe as “an ex-tennis doubles champion who reunites with his former partner after a public feud that resulted in both of them bottoming out.”

Lowe will also serve as an executive producer on the comedy, which is set at a country club.

Hiw fellow departing “Parks and Recreation” cast member Rashida Jones, meanwhile, has also landed a new gig. She’ll star in a new police comedy on TBS created by Steve Carrell, her former co-star on “The Office.” She’ll also executive produce the romantic comedy pilot “A to Z” for NBC, Entertainment Weekly reports.
