Kristin Chenoweth channels 1960s-era Mia Farrow and becomes the lastest Hollywood celeb to say goodbye to her long, luxurious tresses and hello to a brand-new pixie cut. Earlier this week, both Jennifer Hudson and Pamela Anderson unveiled their new super-short looks.
Chenoweth's West Hollywood-based hairstylist, Jonathan Hanousek, shared a photo of the new 'do on Instagram, which Kristin then retweeted."Look who came to the salon today!!!" the photo was captioned. "@KChenoweth went short today for her new film!! We had sooo much fun!"
In an interview with US Weekly, Hanousek said he and the diminutive Broadway songstress, who have worked together a long time, decided on a cut inspired by her next film, "The Boy Next Door" with Jennifer Lopez. "KC and I have been talking about doing something like this for years," Hanousek said. "I think that having this film come up gave her the freedom to just go for it."
Hanousek noted that the 45-year-old plans to stick with her updated look for a while. "She is in love with her new haircut!" he raved. "I'm sure that we will maintain it for some time."
