British actress Jacqueline Bisset's awkward Global Globe acceptance speech on Sunday night has gone viral.

The 69-year-old actress received an award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the TV miniseries "Dancing on the Edge."

Following a glacially slow accent to the stage, Bisset stumbled her way through her speech and even let slip an expletive or two. The first curse word was just barely bleeped, but not the one at the end of one of her sentences.

Bisset then totally ignored the music to signal that it was time for her to stop talking. She also offered this strange advice:

"You have to forgive everybody, it is the best beauty treatment. Forgiveness for yourself and for others."

Comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres tweeted the following:

Other notable moments of the night included the following:

• Tina Fey's and Amy Poehler's opening monologue during which they targeted Matt Damon, George Clooney and Matthew McConaughey.

• P Diddy's suggestion that "Everybody just keep drinking, it'll be over soon."

• Diddy's awkward moment with Bono when the U2 frontman obviously pulled back from a man hug and kiss.

• Amy Poehler making out with Bono before accepting her award for "Parks and Recreation."

• A barefoot and martini-swigging Emma Thompson, who declared that her Christian Louboutin shoes were her blood.

• Diane Keaton's singing of "Make New Friends" during the Woody Allen tribute.

• And a glimpse of Robin Wright's boob tape during her acceptance speech.
