UPS reporting data breach in 24 states, including Nevada
If you have used the services at a UPS Store this year, your financial information could have been compromised.
UPS Store Inc. said more than 51 stores in 24 states were victims of a broad-based malware.
That means some customers' information may have had their credit or debit card information stolen by hackers.
The company said it is not currently aware of any fraud related to the breach.
But, if you went to one of the affected stores between Jan. 20 and Aug. 11, you may want to check your bank accounts.
Four stores in the state of Nevada were hit.
The UPS Store is offering identity protection and credit monitoring services to impacted customers. To take advantage of this service, visit https://theupstore.allclearid.com.
