Tax refund delay
Good news for anyone waiting for their check from the government.
Tax refund delays will be shorter than originally thought. A glitch in the software some taxpayers used to file their tax returns had caused the delay.
Now the IRS says refunds will likely be held up for only 2 to 4 weeks, instead of the 4 to 6 weeks originally predicted. The delay affects more than 600,000 people.
