Toxic toys still on store shelves
(KTNV) -- We have a consumer alert about a new survey that found dangerous and toxic toys on store shelves.
It's all part of the 27th annual Trouble in Toyland report. It says while product safety reform has improved, there are still toys for sale, that pose a safety hazard.
Those dangers include toys that pose choking hazards, threats to children's hearing from loud noise, risks for toxic chemical exposure or risks for potentially severe injuries from high-powered magnets.
This annual report is by the United States Public Interest Research Group.
