Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The pain at the pump continues to ease slightly as we head towards summer.

Drivers are paying about 15-cents less per gallon, compared to Memorial Day last year.

Around the country, gas prices are still higher than they've been at the start of most summers though.

AAA puts the current national average for a gallon of regular at $3.64.

In Las Vegas, drivers continue to pay more. Valley drivers are paying an average of $3.87.
