Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local girl recently got to see her art turned into one of the iconic Hard Rock hotel guitar pins.
"What is it like to have your art on pins in the hard rock? Amazing. it just feels amazing because I never thought I would be chosen to be the one."
Jena White's art was chosen from more than 300 entries.
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino sponsored an art contest inviting Clark County students to design their own guitar pin. Jena White designed a pin that gives a nod to our history featuring a showgirls' legs and feathers.
Her design won and was created into pins that are now being sold at the Hard Rock. Proceeds from the sale of pins will go to the Public Education Foundation here in Clark County.
Marlo Vandemore with the Hard Rock Hotel says the contest was a perfect fit for their company.
"We're a brand built on giving back to the community. And we thought it would be great to have this art program where we could give to the Public Education Foundation."
You can buy one of Jenna's creations at any store inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino here in Las Vegas.
