Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A California youth pastor accused of killing a Las Vegas man is speaking out.
35-year-old Robert Cox has been charged in the murder of Link Ellingson, who suffered head injuries during a brawl outside the Four Kegs Sports Pub last June.
Cox said he and his wife were with about 20 interns on a ministry trip when Ellingson began to make threats out of the blue, and he acted in self defense.
"When somebody says they are going to f'ing kill me and they attack me and choke me and punch me in the face, and then go after my students and give a student a concussion," Cox explained.
His defense lawyer posted his $100,000 bail and they are now waiting for him to be released from jail.
