Mohave County, AZ (KTNV) -- If you think walking on a skywalk is nerve-racking, try hanging below it.
Maintenance workers had to dangle below the Grand Canyon Skywalk to clean it.
Michael Duran and his crew needed nearly 5,000 feet of rope, and have a simple rule for staying calm while they work 4,700 feet above the canyon floor.
"I don't look down. Try to focus on my job at hand, not really worry too much about what's underneath me. I already know it's a long way down," Duran explained.
Nerves aside, Duran said there's nothing like their bird's-eye view of one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
